Dereham Cemetery 2013

Dereham, Norfolk

Proposal for corten screen (unrealised)

Jeremy Stacey Architects, Norfolk

The commision was to develop a screen that obscures for some privacy but also lets in light and air for the newly built waiting area at the cemetery in Dereham. The half screen, would be laser cut in corten steel and uses a detailed, perforated image that flows in river like meander, drawing from images of cellular structures.
