ArC - Art Researching Citizenship 2007
Firstsite and Bishop William Ward School, Colchester
Artist in residence at Bishop William Ward primary school during the summer term, exploring the theme of good citizenship through the making of a parish map that explored the children's journey to school, celebrating local distinctiveness and focusing on the everyday and natural features. The children documented their journey and explored map making, through creative activities in the school the results were brought together into the final artwork which was exhibited at Firstsite before being installed permanently at the school.
