Fish Van Collection, Pelagic Sculpture Commission, Shetland 2016

A three month residency in the Shetland Islands that was the community phase for the sculpture project.

During the residency the Fish Van collection toured the islands meeting retired and young fishermen, herring gutters, writers, community groups and schoolchildren. Workshops were held in museums, schools and for the remote isles children in Lerwick. The project was to collect stories, photographs, objects and mini sculptures that were exhibited at the end of the residency.
