Wysing Arts, Cambridgeshire

A six month residency working with the Artist Gardeners, a group of adults with learning disabilities.

During the residency we worked together for one day a week and explored the theme of weather. We looked at the ways weather affected plants, ways of recording the weather and worked on creative interventions in the rural setting of Wysing arts to explore the many facets of Weather. The residency was leading towards the redevelopment of the farmhouse garden at Wysing. The outcomes of the project included a book publication called Weatherdays, guerilla plantings around the site, a wind sock, mapping weather patterns and finally working on the build of the garden with onebeech garden design.
